When an Earth Sign makes a travel plan, the world stops turning to acknowledge its existence. To say that Earth Signs like to work out the details before leaving home is like saying that forests are likely to have a tree or two; it's an incredible understatement! Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn usually take the dominant role as trip planner, mostly because the trip details are more important to them than to the other Signs. Often they are so organized that they like to make plans far ahead of time; they will pack and re-pack again and they've even been known to memorize whole itineraries or important phone numbers before leaving home.
Earth Signs are always looking for cost-efficient travel and they love to find a good deal on a classy holiday in a great destination. Some Earth Signs like to search the travel ads year round in preparation for a single trip. And as further proof of their frugality in travel, Taurus, Virgo and Cap will choose a destination simply because their native currency will stretch there. Earth Signs will also make a budget they will actually stick to.
Of all the Earth Signs, Taurus is not a big traveler; they prefer to stay close to home. If they go anywhere, they like to be very comfortable and have as many creature comforts about them as they can, including a set of beautiful luggage. They are not a big fan of quick or short trips and they're more likely to travel in their older years when they feel the freedom of living on their own time.
One could set a watch by Virgo's propensity for being on time; when they travel they like to follow their schedule to a T. Virgo especially likes to hunt for the best travel deal around. It makes Virgo very uncomfortable to overspend, overschedule or overpack, and they will do what they can to avoid all three. Virgo can at times be guilty of trying to fit too much into the schedule and they must also be careful with foreign foods due to their often delicate digestive systems.
Capricorn also likes to look for the best price, but they don't like to show their bargain-hunting side as freely as Virgo. Capricorn is more willing to part with their money if they can travel in style. This Earth Sign loves to gain experience and knowledge from their trips, especially in their older years. It's better for the Goat if their trip has a purpose and a goal in mind. They like to view objects of great value and style, such as the Taj Mahal, the Crown Jewels or the Pyramids. Capricorn is happy to go through some expense or hassle to bring home a well-made souvenir.
